
National Fishing License 01/04/2010 - 31/03/2011
All anglers who have reached the age of 16 years and intend to fish salmon, sea trout and sea char in rivers or lakes must pay a government fee. The fishing license is an annual fee and is valid from 01/04/2010 to 31/03/2011.
To be valid, the fishing license must bear the signature of the FISHERMAN (and any family members). The fisherman (and any family members) must carry valid proof of identity, which must be shown to an inspector on request. The license is personal and licenses may not be purchased and the name of a firm or other organisation inserted.

The payment service costs NOK 20. This surcharge must be added when paying.
All who have paid the national license fee receive a receipt via e-mail. If you are a registered user, you will also have your receipt available under the link "Fishing license fee" on "My page". If you have deleted your e-mail and are not a registered user, you may contact inatur.no for a new receipt.
The receipt and valid proof of identity must be shown when you purchase a rod license and to an inspector on request.
