About the cabin
Forest lodging built in 1942. In middle of Hådalen, midway between Røros og Femunden. Was used by Flensmarka loggers during and after Second World War. Restored with addition in 2006 and outhouse built in 1989.
Solar panel electricity with integrated fire alarm in hall. Turn on lights by pushing the green button marked Hovedbryter lys (4 timer) (“Main light switch (4 hours)”). After 4 hours you must push the button again to turn the lights back on. Read the directions at the switch box in the hall (see file below)
Conditions for renting/cancellation
Additional booking information
- Dishtowels, dishcloths, candles, matches and toilet paper are consumables that may have been used up. Take along spares.
- Smoking prohibited in our cabins.
- Dogs are allowed at all Statskog cabins. Pets should preferably not come indoors (living room/bedroom) and should be kept off furniture
- Before you leave, be sure that the cabin is clean and in good condition
- Some cabins have 12 volt solar panel power systems for lighting only. These systems have no extra capacity for powering mobile phones or portable electronic devices or for charging batteries
Booking and cancellation rules for rental of Statskog cabins
- All rentals should be booked online in advance
- All bookings of Statskog cabins are debited when booked.Customers may cancel bookings up to 30 days before rental periods start, against a charge of NOK 500.00.
- Upon cancellation less than 30 days before a rental period starts, 50% of the rental sum will be refunded. Upon cancellation less than seven days before a rental period starts, there will be no refund.
- We advise customers to have cancellation insurance along with their travel insurance
Please respect the local rules for campfire and barbeque. If prohibited, this must be respected.
How to get the key
Take your rental receipt and pick up the keys at the Esso Røros petrol station, Johan Falkbergets vei 8, Røros, Tel: + 47 72 41 24 30. The station is open until 23:00.

Drive 20 km from the intersection with county road 702 toward Sønnervika south of the centre of Rorøs.

– egnet jakthund som benyttes ved kvote- eller lisensjakt.
Vedtaket vurderes opphevet så snart forholdene skulle endre seg, ellers gjelder
vedtaket fram til 1. april (ordinær båndtvang)
